How To Take Care of Your Ties

There’s no more precious and necessary accessory for a gentleman that his ties, which is why today we bring you the best tips to help you with the care of these companions of elegance.
First, you must remember that taking care of your ties correctly will allow you to keep their original shape and have them ready for any occasion.
Surely you will have a wide variety in design, style and material like silk, satin, polyester or cotton tie, but the thing that never changes is their delicacy. If you also have handwoven ties like ours, it will be the same process. In fact, our handmade ties which are made with Guatemalan textiles, will allow you to take care of them more easily.
Advices:
At the moment you stop using your ties, proceed to save them in an appropriate place, rolling it in a drawer or hanging on a tie rack. If you hang up them properly, you’ll get that knot marks disappear, like any other wrinkles they have.
If you save them properly, you will protect them from the dust and natural light, maintaining their quality and brightness.
The best option is if you get a tie rack. These can vary from quality and price, but it is important that fits with your needs. If you´re more a drawer person you can also place them inside but for this it will depend on how many you have and how many of them fit inside.
As last resort, you can also hang them on a common hanger.
Other Advices:
Never store the ties with the knot! When you are done using them, follow the knot steps in reverse to disarm it, never pulling it back. It may seem very simple, but you can ruin them.
If you´re going on a trip, it’s preferable to carry the ties in a bag and folded in two or coiled, as they usually are in the drawer. This will avoid any possible damage during your trip.
If you want to keep them in perfect condition, it’s ideal to hold them in the case where you bought it, and when you put them inside the drawer, they stay more protected than ever.
